Foundation Scholarship

I was awarded the Foundation Scholarship for Continuing Education from Madison College! This is $800 and is awarded for the fall or spring semester, usually to many who apply. Last year so few people applied for it that they doubled all the amounts for those whom had received one already!

Also, today I received my Sekonic L-758DR light meter and a Canon 580EX II external flash. Today I practiced using an external flash for the first time... wow do I have a lot to learn. I did little more than play with buttons and options on the light meter for a while, I think I'll save that for class to officially try to use. I am really excited to learn more about light and what it means to a camera though.
